Jim Lake has spent much of his life seeking adventure.

He joined the U.S. Army when he was eighteen years old and remained on flight military status for forty-two years as a helicopter and airplane pilot. Jim served in Vietnam, South America, Central America, Europe and Cambodia. He was an Aviation Unit Commander in Iraq and Afghanistan and achieved the rank of Chief Warrant Officer (CW5).

Throughout his life, Jim pursued a variety of professions. He was a registered electrical and civil engineer. He practiced law as a construction dispute litigator. While living in Alaska, he was an Assistant Chief of Police. With his forty-two-foot trawler boat, Jim operated a charter company that took divers into Alaska’s remote Prince William Sound to search for sunken ships from the 19th and 20th centuries and recover the interesting items inside them.

Despite having a seemingly fulfilling and comfortable life, Jim wasn’t satisfied. He felt drawn to the unknown and started meditating. While in deep meditation, he had profound experiences that encouraged him to continue exploring the spiritual realm.
In August of 2022, after a unexpected awakening, he enrolled in the Aisling Dream Interpretation Mentorship program. He rapidly advanced his spirituality and developed a deeper understanding of his life and purposes.
As a dream analyst and spiritual guide, Jim enjoys helping people new to spirituality, and those who may feel lost or confused. He provides guidance to those uncertain of what steps to take next.

He also spends his time exploring the night sky through photography and documenting the anomalous objects he sees high above him.  
Jim currently lives in Montana. He’s been married to his partner in adventure, Diane, for over fifty-two years.
